04. junij 2004
Krakow, 1 June 2004 - Yesterday in the evening the 44th Krakow Short and Documentary Film Festival was concluded. At the final event of the festival, whose president is Andrzej Wajda, Marcin Pieczonka read a resolution in the name of the undersigned, which was accepted by young filmmakers from Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Slovenia in the frame of the international conference. Among other things, this resolution appeals to the governments of the aforementioned states to follow the Hungarian example and support progressive film legislation, which would ensure the strengthening of the national cinematographies and a brighter future for the young filmmakers. The young Slovenian filmmakers were represented by the writer and director Martin Srebotnjak.
