Its goal is to facilitate the application to the public calls and to guarantee that the funds gotten on the SFC yearly calls will be distributed transparently and in time.

Through the Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Government of Slovenia, Slovenian Film Centre will launch the project eFilm as a complementary part of the eCulture service. Its goal is to facilitate the application to the public calls and to guarantee that the funds gotten on the SFC yearly calls will be distributed transparently and in time.

The aim is to create a platform of e-services that will improve the work process, transparency, project management and communication between the Centre, the applicants and the public for the whole duration of the cycle for each individual project. It will also enable the upgrade of the existing digital infrastructure, such as the Slovenian Film Centre webpage, the Slovenian Film Guide digital catalogue and the Slovenian Film Commission, as well as the development of the new dynamic e-service SFCPro.

With the digitalisation and simplification of the administrative processes, the creators will have more time to focus on their work. The eFilm platform operates in accordance with the national documents like the Strategy for the Digital Transformation of the Public Sector 2021-2030, National Programme for Culture 2024-2028, and the Developmental Strategy for the AV Sector, which is under the jurisdiction of the SFC. The yearly budget from the eFilm programme that runs from July 2025 – June 2026 is limited at €315,000.
