The programme of the Slovenian Film Fund for the year 2009

On 30 October 2008 the Slovenian Film Fund released the public invitation for the co financing of the realisation of full length and short live action, animated and documentary films, co productions, script development, projects, enlargements and the co financing of actions, festivals and events.

At the 4th special and 8th regular meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Slovenian Film Fund, the Supervisory Board - at the proposal of the Management, in accordance with Article 12 paragraph 2 of the General Operating Conditions of the Film Fund, according to which the Director of the Film Fund must reach an agreement with the Supervisory Board in case of any decision on the co financing of projects whose financing proposals exceed EUR 41,729.26, gave its prior consent to the co financing of the following projects, applied in time for the first deadline of the public invitation:

At the moment the projects submitted in time for the first deadline of the public invitation for the co financing of script development and projects are still being processed by the expert programme commission, so further confirmations from this field are still possible.

At the proposal of the administration, the Management Board also confirmed new members of the expert programme commissions.
The screenwriting programme commission consists of the publicist and professor Jože Dolmark, publicist Mitja Čander and film distributor Cvetka Flakus.


The members of the expert programme commission for enlargements are the film editor Nikita Maja Lah, film producer Čedomir Kolar and film journalist and publicist Zdenko Vrdlovec.


The programme commission for actions is made up by the journalist of the Mladina magazine Damijana Kolar, culturologist Tibor Mihelič Syed and film journalist and publicist Mateja Valentinčič.


At its last, 8th regular session, the Film Fund Supervisory Board confirmed Nataša Bučar, who had been proposed by the Association of Slovenian Filmmakers, as the Director of the 12th Festival of Slovenian Film. The 12th Festival of Slovenian Film will take place between 1 and 3 October 2009 in Portorož. The deadline for film entries is 3 August 2009.
