Our Films in Karlovy Vary

Karlovy Vary. This festival is becoming increasingly important for Slovenian films and also for the rest of the films from Central and Eastern Europe. Two years ago the film Idle Running by Janez Burger had a guest appearance in the competition section. In the same year Sašo Podgoršek's Dark Angels was presented in the second most important section of this festival, called East from the West. Last year Damjan Kozole's Porno Film appeared in this section and it was shown at sixteen festivals until now. This year Martin Srebotnjak's Ode To The Poet is going to be shown in the East from the West section. This will be the international premiere for the film. In the video section Fortress Europe by Želimir Žilnik is going to be shown. In the Horizons section the film No Man's Land, Slovenia being one of its co-producer countries, is going to appear.
