Another Award to Peter Musevski

Peter Musevski, whom we all remember well for his excellent performance in the first film by Jan Cvitkovic Bread and Milk, received the award for best actor at the 23rd Mostra de Valencia film festival in Spain for his role in the aforementioned film. The festival, where Sweet Dreams appeared last year and received the Golden Palm for best film, this year took place from 27 November to 4 December 2002. The continuous success of Slovenian film at the Spanish festival started in 1996 with the film Carmen by Metod Pevec. Natasa Barbara Gracner received the award for best female role that time, while Tomislav Pinter got the award for best photography. A year after that Outsider by Andrej Kosak received the Bronze Palm. Last year at the 4th Slovenian Film Festival in Portoroz the Actor of the Year Award according to the "Stop" magazine went to Peter Musevski for his role of Ivan in the film Bread And Milk. At the Bratislava International Film Festival that same year he also received the award for best actor. Cvitkovic's film also received awards in Cottbuss, at the Ljubljana LIFF film festival, in Gorizia and, of course, in Venice received the Lion of the Future for best full-length film.
