Spare Parts, Blind Spot, Guardian of the Frontier and (A)torsion are touring the festivals. Read on to find out which ones! In September the Kozole's film Spare Parts is going to have its Swedish premiere. The audience in Umea will be able to see it between 18 and 24 September. Besides Spare Parts Arsenijeviæ's (A)torsion is also going to be shown. Spare Parts is not the first Kozole's film to appear at this festival; in the year 2000 his Porno Film was shown here. It can be said that the audience in Umea is familiar with Slovenian films, since last year they were able to see Guardian of the Frontier by Maja Weiss, while in 2001 Rascals! by Miran Zupanic was shown here. Blind Spot by Hanna A.W. Slak is going to appear at the Eighth International Festival in Split in the end of September. At the same time Blind Spot is heading for two other festivals: The International Festival in Bordeaux, France, and The New Europe Festival in London. Guardian of the Frontier is going to dance to the samba beat in the hot Rio de Janeiro from 25 September to 9 October. The fact that the festival in Brazil is the 57th festival for it to be shown at in the last two years makes it obvious how full of life this film is. The short film (A)torsion by Stefan Arsenijeviæ is touring the festivals without a break. In this month it is going to be shown at another five festivals: at the Barcelona International Short Film Festival in the beginning of September, at the Festival of the Best Short Films in Sanary Sur Mer in France in the middle of the month, at the Enzimi Film Festival in Rome from 12 to 20 September, then at the Ludwigsburg European Film Festival and at the Telluride Film Festival in the United States.
