Polona Juh Receives the Award for Best Female Role

The 10th "Faces of Love" Film Festival in Moscow, which took place between 8 and 17 March 2005, concluded with the conferring of awards.

The international festival jury, presided over by the well-known British actress Brenda Blethyn, gave the Award for Best Film to the Iranian film "Beautiful city" by the director Asghar Farhadi, and the Award for Best Male Role went to the actor Stipe Erceg for his role in the German film "Yugotrip" by the director Nadya Derado.
Besides Polona Juh the Award for Best Female Role also went to the Swedish actress Pernilla August for her role in the film "Daybreak" by the director Bjorn Runge.
Numerous Slovenian films have already been shown at the "Faces of Love" Film Festival, and in the year 2000 the Award for Best Film went to the feature film "Idle Running" by the director Janez Burger, while the Award for Best Male Role went to Jan Cvitkovič.
