Retrospective of Slovenian Animated Film in Germany

In the context of the seventh international Weekend of Animated Film, which is to take place in the German city of Wiesbaden from 27 to 30 October 2005, an extensive retrospective of the Slovenian Animated Film is also going to be presented.

The retrospective is going to include 17 animated films, among them the award-winning participants of important international festivals (Stone by Koni Steinbacher, Kiss Me Soft Rubber by Zvonko Èoh, Authority by Zdravko Barišič, Perkmandeljc by Dušan Kastelic and Mate to Measure by Špela Èadež), three films by Marjan Manček (Home Sweet Home, Hribci – Breakfast and Be), two films by Oliver Marčeta (Innocent When You Dream and Coachman), Crossroads 2 by Franci Slak and Miloš Radosavljeviæ and Beezes – Going South by Grega Mastnak. The following films of the younger generation of authors are also going to be shown: How to Create an Artist? by the duo Son:DA, Siddharta - Platina 9th Remix by Luka Lorenci, Bright Future - Plastos Fedor Helps by Marko A. Kovačič and Kolja Saksida and Osmosa by Roman Ražman and Gorazd Bizjak. The program was prepared by Igor Prassel in co-operation with the Film Fund. Apart from Prassel, who is also going to present the Ljubljana international festival of animated film Animateka (the second edition is going to take place from 13 to 17 December 2005), Špela Èadež will personally appear in Wiesbaden and present her film Mate to Measure.
