Gravehopping Receives Two Awards in Torino

At the 23rd film festival in Torino, which took place between 11 and 19 November, the film Gravehopping by Jan Cvitkovič, produced by Staregare with the financial support of the Film Fund of the Republic of Slovenia, received two more awards.

Jan Cvitkovič shared the First Prize of the Festival with Yesterday's Clouds, the first film by Tsubokawa Takushi, and each of these films also received a monetary award amounting to 10.500 Euro.

The Holden School Award Jury gave the film Gravehopping the Award for Best Script, amounting to 1.550 Euro. In their explanation they wrote: "Because it makes you laugh, toys with death, and then hurts you."

After the Altadis Award at the world premiere of this film in San Sebastian in September, these are already the fifth and the sixth award for Gravehopping.
