Bodies of the agency

The bodies of the Agency include the Board of the Agency and the Director of the Agency. The Agency also encompasses Expert Programme Commissions.


The Board of the Agency

The Board of the Agency consists of eight members, appointed and relieved by the Government. Board members shall be appointed for the period of five years with the possibility of being reappointed. The Board shall elect one of its members as President of the Board.


Director

The Director of the Agency shall be appointed and relieved by the Government at the proposal of the Board of the Agency. The Director of the Agency shall be appointed on the basis of an open competition, carried out by the Board. The Director's term is five years.

On 1st December 2016 the Government of the Republic of Slovenia appointed Nataša Bučar as Director of the Slovenian Film Centre, a public agency of the Republic of Slovenia.



Expert Programme Commissions of the Agency

Expert Programme Commissions of the Agency are the consultative bodies of the Director, providing opinions and evaluations with regard to project proposals in the field of film and audiovisual activities submitted in the processes of allocating the public resources, and proposing cultural policy measures and other development measures in the field of film and audiovisual activities in the Republic of Slovenia.

The Expert Programme Commissions consist of three members, appointed by the Board at the proposal of the Director and selected among the renowned experts in the field of film and audiovisual activities.
