Slovenian Film Retrospective In Madrid

In the frame of the presentation of Slovenian culture in
Madrid a retrospective of Slovenian film is going to take place between 3 June and 9 June. After the retrospective in April this is the second Slovenian film retrospective in 2002. The event is going to be organised in "Circulo de bellas artes”. The retrospective will present the Slovenian cinematography and emphasize the films made in the recent years. The classical Slovenian film will be presented by the following films: Don't Cry, Peter by France Štiglic, The Castle Of Sand by Boštjan Hladnik, On Wings Of Paper by Matjaž Klopčič, Farewell Until The Next War by Živojin Pavloviæ and Red Boogie by Karpo Godina. The recent Slovenian films will be represented by Express, Express by Igor Šterk, Idle Running by Janez Burger, Porno Film by Damjan Kozole, Sweet Dreams by Sašo Podgoršek and Bread And Milk by Jan Cvitkovič. Bread And Milk, the award winning film from the film festival in Venice, is going to open the retrospective. The director will attend the showing. All of the films are going to have Spanish subtitles. A part of this retrospective is also going to be presented later in Barcelona.
