Synopsis
In 2007 and 2008 the director Zdravko Pečenko made a documentary drama The Birches, the Sea and Infinity. It’s a story of Avgust Berthold, a photographer who lived at the beginning of the 20th century, and who was the central figure of Slovenian pre-WW1 photography, also making his mark in a wider European context.
