Somewhere in the future at a virtual forum Tim meets Dana. Both are interested in “The Project Child” which allows people in this alienated and asocial society to have children. A child is an appreciated status symbol for which by law someone has to die. Tim’s father is in a coma and he can spend his free time with him in the virtual world. The only true and honest relationship and real friendship Tim has with his father, therefore, the decision to have a child is more difficult for him than for Dana. Dana is impatient while signing the contract, so Tim has to decide quickly. After a virtual romantic meeting with Dana, Tim finally decides in favour of the child. He goes to the special institution called Heaven, where his father lies in coma and interrupts his fathers link to life. When he is returning home, he is in the elevator with Dana’s mother. Tim does not know her yet. Dana has obviously kept a secret, also having someone who could have died and sacrificed for the child. Tim was tricked.
