Aufbiks!

The film discusses the dynamics of national relations between Slovene and German people in Celje in the last third of the 19th and in the beginning of the 20th century. These relations were developing from tolerance and coexistence in 1870s to severe international conflicts that reached the peak between the years 1890 and 1899. The base of the screenplay is the research work by Prof. Dr. Janez Cvirn and especially his book Kri v luft! Čreve na plot! – description of the social life in Celje at the turn of the century.
