Gala, an attractive and capable news journalist, lives with a high-ranking politician. In a scandal related to an oil deal, her partner is accused of accepting bribes and being involved in dirty business. Because Gala completely thrusts her partner, she begins to use the television medium to defend him. A the same time, Gala’s colleague Eva begins to investigate, by official duty, the politician’s involvement in bribes. She soon discovers that he is not as clean as Gala would like to believe. Gala begins to wonder if there is any truth in the rumors. After her partner makes some more fatal mistakes and slips, Gala realizes that her intimate friend is involved in dirty business. She no longer thrusts him and stops defending him. The story reaches its climax when the politician notices this and devises a plan to accuse Gala of insinuations before the public and her superiors. He succeeds. He plants a datafile in her computer which shows her to be a liar and glorifies him. The public and her superiors believe his story.
