Film-related media
In Slovenia specialised film magazines and newspapers have existed for several decades.
The Slovenian Cinematheque publishes expert literature from the field of film, and in the recent years it has cooperated actively with the UMco publishing house.
UMco, Ljubljana, besides working with the Slovenian Cinematheque, also publishes the Premiera book collections, focusing on all fields of film, including film history, theory, entertainment, soundtracks, industry and screenplays as well as collections of texts with regard to film.
The Archives of the Republic of Slovenia publish catalogues entitled Filmsko gradivo Arhiva RS (Film Materials of the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia).
Occasionally the major Slovenian publishing houses also release works in the field of film theory, history and practice.
